(((SOUND)))SPACE[2025]SENIOR SHOWDISCRIPTION
[OTIS]

(((Sound)))Space is an interdisciplinary exploration of listening as both a cultural and design practice. The project spans multiple mediums: a zine that documents how brands and designers use listening experiences as cultural tools; a sculptural, OJAS-inspired speaker that reinterprets high-end audio aesthetics through DIY methods; and an interactive installation using Syng and HomePod speakers to create curated sound environments. By blending graphic design, product design, sculpture, and sound studies, (((Sound)))Space frames listening as an unseen yet deeply influential part of our lives one that shapes identity, aesthetics, and connection.
