Microplastics are everywhere—and that’s not an exaggeration. These tiny plastic particles, less than 5 millimeters in size, have infiltrated nearly every aspect of our lives, yet most of us underestimate just how pervasive and harmful they really are. Whether it’s the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the food we consume, microplastics have made their way into our daily routines in ways that often go unnoticed.
STATEMENT
My posters magnify the hidden reality of microplastics by enlarging images of microscopic particles to an overwhelming scale. By making the invisible visible, I aim to confront viewers with the severity of an issue we often overlook in our everyday lives. This piece challenges us to question how something so small can have such a massive impact on our health and environment.
