Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in the United States, JUNG HU (LUKE) KIM is an inter-diciplinary designer currently based in Los Angeles. Ranging in practices through image making, typeography, branding, and spatial design, earning his degree in Graphic Design at OTIS College of Art and Design.

STATEMENT
During my time at Sundae School, I had the opportunity to take on various roles and gain hands-on experience across multiple aspects of the brand. I started as a design intern, creating visual content and graphic assets that aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling. As I expanded my skills, I transitioned into a production intern, where I helped manage the manufacturing processes, quality control, and product coordination. I also took on the role of a production assistant on set, supporting shoots by coordinating logistics, organizing materials, and assisting the creative team to ensure smooth execution. Additionally, as a project manager, I assisted in planning campaigns, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth project execution.
This diverse experience taught me how to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and balance creativity with organization. It strengthened my ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative, giving me the skills to contribute to dynamic and fast-paced creative environments.
There’s something surreal about seeing the things I’ve designed come to life out in the world.
