This zine began in my color theory class taught by the late Michael Shrier, who once explained that combining orange and blue creates gray—a concept that deeply fascinated me and sparked my curiosity about color. Since then, the project has gone through multiple visual iterations, evolving from form studies to photography, pattern making, product design, and finally digital image making.
STATEMENT
My posters magnify the hidden reality of microplastics by enlarging images of microscopic particles to an overwhelming scale. By making the invisible visible, I aim to confront viewers with the severity of an issue we often overlook in our everyday lives. This piece challenges us to question how something so small can have such a massive impact on our health and environment.
